Hair Fair 2012 : [Ink] Hair Preview

One thing that is pretty amazing about the Hair Fair, is the ability for designers to showcase their talent and bring new customers into their stores. Exposure can go a long way, in becoming a top brand in second life. Ink hair has the potential and it shows at this years event.   A couple months ago, I purchased a couple  styles from this store. I recall the designs had potential and kept an eye on the brand.   With three releases at this years event, I think they have done quite well.  The style’s might not be so tasteful to some, but I really enjoy designs that are a little outside of the norm.

My favorite of the three releases, would be Yoke. The design reminds me of the haircut, that of the lead singer of the band that sings, “Tonight, We Are Young”.  I find it very trendy but a risk taker.

I also purchased the style ABSP, which has a very wild look. It’s a wavy style, that sort of looks like you just rolled out of bed.

Hair Fair 2012 : Colors Preview

Hey Everybody, I am excited to bring you a preview of a few hair styles, that will be available at this years Hair Fair. Seem’s like most everyone involved in the fashion and blogging world on second life, is a buzz about this event. I remember being at my first Hair Fair in 2011 as a customer. I recall having a great time and feeling like a kid, trying on all the new hair. I am delighted to be given a chance to give a sneak peak of what’s available for men, at this years Hair Fair.

The hair shown in the picture below, is from COLORS.  Colors is one of those brands that you don’t really hear too much about, but I do recall them being at the previous Hair Fair. This style has to be one of my favorites from this year. I really like the length and style of the hair.

All Summer Long

Hey All, my last blog was a more darker look so I decided today, that I will show you a outfit that suits the summer season, a little more.  I am wearing the recently released ” mesh open shirt” from Kauna. I paired it with a striped v neck from JLB, which is a new mens store that just recently opened. Welcome To The Black Parade

I was listening to some bands that popped up a few years ago, but are no longer in the spotlight today.  The songs inspired me to do a darker and punk look.  I picked up these new mesh pants from Ronsem, that are pretty cool.  You can change both the belt and the cuffs to several different colors, which is nice when matching outfits.  I am also wearing a mesh tee shirt from a new store called ForeverFetch. The owner hasn’t released much as of yet, but a pretty nice quality item for just starting. Hopefully it is the beginning of a great brand.

New From Belleza & Hoorenbeek

Hey Everyone, today I have a couple new things to show you. The first would be the new “Dylan” skin from Belleza. It has been over a year since Tricky Boucher released a new male skin, but it is finnaly here. I am quite impressed with this one myself. The skin is only available in one tone, at the moment. It will be fully released at a later date, with the rest of the options. You can purchase this skin at the Men’s Dept, which had a new round of items released today.

I am also wearing the new mesh Military Jacket from Hoorenbeek. Much like the rest of Hoorenbeek’s designs, this jacket is very well made and has a great style to it.
